Handel II

Handel II is by Wolfgang who has sired many approved sons and International Grand Prix and World Cup showjumpers, including Extreme (Leslie Howard's Olympic ride), Fior (Francois Mathy Jr. / McLain Ward) Frederic, Freedom, Whinny Jackson (Billy Twomey) and World Champions at Lanaken, Illussion and Kigali (Albert Zoer), he is also the sire of the approved stallion Esteban who sired Andrew Davies' former ride Limbo. Wolfgang gave a striking performance in Ermelo at his Performance Test. He earned nines for jumping under saddle, stable manners and training behaviour. For both the cross-country and the driving test he was awarded a figure of 8,5. In the national stallion competition he was very successful with Henk van den Broek. Wolfgang also has several offspring doing well in dressage. Both Jester with Kebie v.d. Heijden and Whinny Jackson have competed at Prix St.Georges level.

Wolfgang is by the legendary Farn who has produced many top competition horses including the great sire Nimmerdor who was selected for the Olympic Games and has over 50 graded sons and 60 international showjumpers including Odin N, Black and White Design, Trust Me, Sheffield Olympus and Talman. Farn is also the damsire of Geoff Billington's great campaigner It's Otto. Wolfgang's dam is the very attractive ‘keur-preferent-performance' mare Jolanda . Her sire is the thoroughbred Erastosthenes xx. He produced such well-known offspring as Iwan F, Hala NB , Cyrano, Horatio, gamin, Oscar and I. Socrates.

Handel's dam Clementine is by Ulft who is known around the world as a top sire of both dressage and jumping horses. He is a prodigious sire, producing such offspring as Caesar, Disney, Utopia, Olympic Ferro to name but a few, and has numerous approved sons and keur daughters. At his performance test, Ulft broke records not only for jumping, but also in dressage. He was the first stallion at the test in Ermelo to receive a 9 for dressage. His sire is the great Le Mexico who, along with his full brother Furioso II (Sire of For Pleasure), possessed phenomenal jumping ability.

Clementine's dam Porta is by the Gelderlander keur elite- stallion Garant who can be found in the pedigree of many of today's top international show jumpers and who once again is a son of the great Farn out of Towerfee Z who won the Italian jumping derby.
